Concord, N.C., July 31, 2007 – Walker Marketing continues its steady growth by courting and strategically acquiring national talents Ken Vuncannon as director of interactive services and Anne Clark as media director. These hires come as the firm, which marked its 6th anniversary in July, experiences steady revenue growth and client acquisitions.

Through his role as director of interactive services, Vuncannon will serve as the chief architect of all software and interactive campaigns Walker Marketing develops on behalf of its clients. Vuncannon brings to his position not only his experience in leading successful software and web development teams, but also a vast background in marketing, business management, as well as the engineering knowledge required to build and evolve enterprise-level applications. In his past leadership positions, Vuncannon has spearheaded groundbreaking new media initiatives for a wide range of well-known worldwide organizations, including American Express, Blue Rhino and Samaritan’s Purse. Most recently, at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, Vuncannon led web development teams comprised of editors, graphic designers, programmers and analysts to produce wide-scale, award-winning Web sites for multiple corporate entities. During the course of his career, his Web initiatives have attracted millions of registered users and generated revenue of in excess of 100 million dollars – on both national and international scopes.

Her experience includes tenures on the media side and the agency side, providing her with a unique dual perspective, aggressive negotiating skills and knowledge of which advertising mediums best align with clients’ needs. During her years in the industry, Clark has planned, negotiated and placed major print, outdoor, electronic and broadcast buys for national and regional accounts including McDonald’s, Frito Lay, Dillard’s Department Stores and Niblock Development, among others.
